At Capella Nova, we don’t just create jewelry; we build symbols of forever. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a comprehensive lifetime commitment to ensure your piece remains as radiant as the day you first saw it.

Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty

We guarantee our artistry against any manufacturing defects. If you believe your piece has a structural flaw, we invite you to our Vancouver studio for a professional inspection.

Coverage: If a manufacturing fault is identified, we will repair or replace the item at no cost.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, loss, or theft. Fine jewelry is subject to natural wear (such as thinning prongs or surface scratches) over time, which is not considered a defect.

The Capella Nova Boutique Care Package

To protect your investment and maintain the structural integrity of your piece, every engagement ring purchase includes our complimentary package of professional services:

  • Annual Check: To maintain your warranty, we provide complimentary annual stone security checks and prong tightening.

  • Complimentary Professional Cleaning: One deep cleaning per year to restore original brilliance.

  • Professional Polishing: One professional polishing service per year, performed only if necessary. To preserve the weight and strength of your gold, we recommend polishing only when needed to remove surface scuffs.

  • White Gold Care: Lifetime rhodium plating to maintain that signature mirror-like finish.

  • Size Adjustment: One complimentary resizing within the first year of purchase (up to 1.5 full sizes; excludes eternity bands and certain complex settings).

  • Setting Protection: We will replace diamonds 3mm or smaller at no charge if they are lost, provided the ring has been brought in for its required annual inspection.

Important Terms & Conditions

  • Annual Inspection Requirement: To keep your Heirloom Promise active, your ring must be inspected at our studio once every 12 months. This allows us to ensure the integrity of your setting.

  • Third-Party Work: Any maintenance, resizing, or repair performed by a jeweler other than Capella Nova will void your warranty.

  • Center Stone Insurance: While we provide a manufacturing warranty on the setting, the center diamond/gemstone is not covered for loss or accidental damage. We strongly recommend putting in place insurance for total peace of mind.

  • Shipping & Handling: For clients outside of Vancouver, shipping costs and insurance for items sent to our studio for inspection are the responsibility of the customer. If a defect is confirmed, Capella Nova will cover the return shipping to you.
